Specialist Support and Training For Practitioners
I offer specialist consultation, supervision, coaching and training designed to enhance your knowledge and skills as a practitioner working with neurodivergent people.
By 'practitioner', I'm referring to both clinically trained professionals and education and health and social care professionals. It is vitally important that across education, health and social care, that we challenge systemic barriers and create environments that embrace neurodivergent perspectives and needs so that we can cultivate cultures of understanding, collaboration, and equity for neurodivergent people.
Fostering Collective Growth
Over the last few years, community has offered me a space not only to feel seen, heard, and valued, but also to learn from and connect with people with different backgrounds and life experiences, to my own. It’s where we share our experiences, learn from one another, and build relationships that foster understanding and trust. For neurodivergent individuals, having a community that embraces diversity and celebrates differences can be transformative—providing belonging, empowerment, and the strength to navigate a world that often misunderstands or marginalises them.

Through my work, I want to contribute meaningfully to nurturing communities that:
-
Uplift Voices: Striving for everyone to feel included and to have a 'voice' within the space through equitable community spaces.
-
Foster Collaboration: Encouraging shared learning and mutual support to develop solutions that benefit all members.
-
Disrupt harmful systems: De-centreing the whiteness of professions like Speech and Language Therapy and colonial influences on assessment and therapy.
-
Promote Authenticity: Offering spaces where people can be their true selves without fear of judgment.
-
Celebrate Diversity: Recognising that our varied experiences and identities make communities richer and stronger.

I believe that together, we can challenge systemic inequities and that community is not just a support system, but a catalyst for change.

I am committed to cultivating these connections and to building more inclusive communities that empower every member to flourish. As a white person, I'm committed to challenging white supremacy and sustained anti-racism work.

Speech and Language Therapist
"Kate's supervision and coaching have had an enormous impact on me as a therapist and as a person. She has introduced me to the Neurodiversity Paradigm and supported me to embrace a neurodiversity-affirming approach in my SLT practice. Her immense knowledge, skills and passion have inspired me to question, learn and grow. She has created a safe and supportive space for reflection and discussion, and I have developed so much as a therapist as a result."
